of the Film Veruschka Inszenierungen (m)eines Körpers, was born 1969 in East Berlin. Studied Philosophy and History in Berlin then moved to Paris and later New York City where he studied classical Flute with Harold Jones of the Antara Ensemble and visual Arts with Christian Piper and Vera v. Lehndorff while working in a multitude of Jobs to sustain his existence - including Ice-sculpting with Joseph o'Donaghue at New York's Ice Fantasies Inc, freelance writing and translating, contractor's work, webs-design, bicycle courier, stage hand etc. Co founder of the Lunatarium Club in DUMBO Brooklyn NY and member of the board from 1998-2004. Mr. Waschke regularly performed as a flutist in St. Anna Church Brooklyn-Fort Green and New Yorks Walkerstage in TriBeCa.

He met Veruschka in the mid-90ies and collaborated with her on several projects including other short films: Buddha Bum and Burning City where he composed and performed the music, and the book-project Emanation where he acted as writer and lay-out designer.

Veruschka Inszenierungen... was apart from five music videos for the percussionist in Jo Jo Mah's Ensemble Joseph Grammley (California 2002 - BFB Studios) Michael's first major Film assignment.

Lives since 2005 in Berlin as a musician, writer and works on new films.
