Bernd Boehm, born in Koenigsberg, East Prussia, grew up in Hamburg, Germany. After Highschool, he studied art and under Gustav Gruendgens he was a drama-student at the Schauspielhaus , Hamburg. He traveled and did artistic photography in Paris, New York and Rome. Since many years he works as a successful fashion and beauty photographer for magazines and advertising, mostly in Los Angeles, New York and Berlin. He photographed many stars from Wilhelmina to Claudia Schiffer, Priscilla Presley to Sharon Stone and Charlize Theron, and celebreties like Joan Collins, Isabella Rosselini, Andie McDowell and Milva Biolcatti. Since 2000 he tended more and more towards filming: Music Videos, Documentaries, advertising. Since 2003 he lives and works in Berlin, in his newly aquired and renovated legendary Havelstudios, where many german films and TV Shows have been shot. Paul Morrissey and Bernd Bšhm started the Film about the life of Veruschka von Lehndorff in New York and continued and finished this creative co-work here. Currently he works on a project about the german sculpturist and writer Ernst Barlach for ARTE-Germany-France and another project about the life of Prince Henry of Prussia, the brother of Wilhelm II, the last emperor of Germany.
